TVT BROW LAMINATION
Who wants fluffier brows but can’t achieve this due to the lack of hair growth and/or hair direction that falls flat?
‘Browjam TVT Brow Lamination’ may be for you. This treatment is designed to give THICKNESS, VOLUME & TEXTURE to the brows.
TVT BROW LAMINATION
TREATMENT TIME: 45 minutes

THE PROCEDURE:

-
Disruption of the natural hair flow by breaking down the disulphate bond in the hair using Browjam lifting creme.
-
Reform the hair into their new shape, building the disulphate bonds back using Browjam neutralising cream. This will make the brows appear thicker.
-
Volumise the brow with a custom tint blend, however this is not always necessary.
-
Brow map out the perfect shape to suit your face.
-
Precise waxing, threading, tweezing and trimming to sculpt out the shape, again not always necessary if a more feathered undone brow line is desired.
-
Browjam keratin moisturiser is applied to hydrate the brow.

AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

After the procedure your brows will look enlarged with a shiny glossy appearance which some will love and some will hate. Don’t wash the product off for 24 hours. After the 24 hour period, your brows will go into a settling phase where they will shrink and the finalised look will be fluffy and textured. You will also be given aftercare oil to help maintain hydration and prevent the brow hair turning brittle.
RECOMMENDATIONS:

We suggest every client comes back 4 weeks after treatment for a wax and tint to maintain the brow. We recommend leaving 6 weeks (minimum) between lamination appointments as to not damage the brow hair. The treatment can last on average 8-10 weeks.
A patch test is required and must be done 48 hours prior. No appointment is necessary for this just walk in and one of the ‘Vanity Artists’ will assist.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

TVT brow lamination isn’t for everyone unfortunately and results of the treatment may not work or vary depending on your hormonal state, pregnancy, imbalances, or thyroid issues. You cannot have the procedure if you have brittle or super fine brow hair. You cannot have the full procedure if you are on medication for acne as waxing is not recommended.
BROW FIX
Ashleighs ‘Brow Fix’ is all about balancing the face. The conventional brow style is to have a high arch and bring the tail end back down, but that can really close up the eye. With ‘Brow Fix’ the arch is soft and starts closer to the centre of the brow and then stays lifted towards the temples.

Inspired by Korean beauty, the ‘Brow Fix’ is all about a straighter, flat brow. Celebs like Kendall Jenner are huge fans of this look.
The ‘Brow Fix’ brow is incredibly flattering and youthful. The unkempt appearance creates a look familiar to those brows we had before reaching for tweezers.
The ‘Brow Fix’ is a treatment bespoke to ‘Vanity Studio’
BROW FIX
TREATMENT TIME: 45 minutes

THE PROCEDURE:
-
The brows will be ‘brow dyed’ with a custom blend and left to develop for around 5-10 minutes to ensure a full coverage stain on the skin and hair.
-
Your artist will then map out the brow shape (with the intention of keeping as much hair as possible). They will apply wax to remove only stray hairs and lift the shape towards the tail of the brow. You may wish to leave the top of your Brows unwaxed as this will give a really on trend fluffy finish.
-
The brow will be threaded, trimmed and tweezed only in areas where needed.
-
The artist will softly fill in under the brow using a hair stroke method to help flatten the arch (if required).
-
The artist will then brush the brow hairs in an upward and angled direction to frame the face.
-
Finishing products are used to style the brows; brow fibres add thickness and density.
-
Lastly "Brow Fix' is used to fix the hairs in place, the non-budge formula trains your brow hairs to sit the way you desire.
AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

If required you will be put on a brow regrowth programme and given advice on products to use in order to maintain your brows at home.
RECOMMENDATIONS:

We recommend this treatment every 4 weeks although this look is unkempt a regular tidy and tint helps maintain any stray hairs. The tint sits on superficial layers of the skin so minimal water over the brow area is recommended for longer lasting results. You will be given product recommendations away with you to achieve the brow at home. A patch test is required and must be done 48 hours prior. No appointment is necessary for this just walk in and one of the ‘Vanity Artists’ will assist.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Brow Fix isn’t for everyone and results of the treatment may not work or vary depending on your hormonal state, pregnancy, imbalances, or thyroid issues. You cannot have the full procedure if you are on medication for acne as waxing is not recommended.
HENNA BROWS
Henna Brows are taking over the world and for good reason!
Henna is a type of tinting that stains the skin as well as the hair giving you a full 3D effect. It’s a fantastic way to try out a brow shape before committing to semi-permanent brows, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled in temporarily. What’s great about ‘Vanity’s Henna’ is that it not only gives the eyebrow colour and volume but the ingredients help restore weak and damaged hairs.
TREATMENT TIME: 45 minutes
HENNA BROWS

THE PROCEDURE:
-
First your artist will cleanse and remove any oils from the skin. This is to ensure that your skin is clean and ready for the henna.
-
The brows are then measured and shaped which also allows you to have some input before the process goes ahead.
-
A white paste is applied around your eyebrows that acts as a barrier and is what gives you the sharp, defined result.
-
The henna is then applied and pushed onto the skin to ensure it sits in between the hairs to give you that fuller effect. It will develop for about 10 - 20 minutes (will vary depending on the client).
-
The henna is then wiped away and your eyebrows are waxed, threaded & tweezed to complete a high definition effect.
AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

It is recommended that you do not get them wet or apply brow makeup for 24 hours. Avoid sun-beds and self tanning products for 24 hours as this can alter the colour of the Henna and cause it to fade quicker.
RECOMMENDATIONS:

Henna tint sits on superficial layers of the skin so minimal water over the brow area is recommended for longer lasting results.
Use a clear brow gel or brow soap twice daily to help keep hairs in place. Do not put self-tan over the brow as this will alter the tint colour. Henna may last 2 weeks on the skin and 6 weeks on the hair. However at Vanity we recommend the treatment every 4 weeks to maintain the brow. A patch test is required and must be done 48 hours prior. No appointment is necessary for this just walk in and one of the ‘Vanity Artists’ will assist.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Henna Brows are not for everyone and results of the treatment may not work or vary depending on your hormonal state, pregnancy, imbalances, or thyroid issues. You cannot have the full procedure if you are on medication for acne as waxing is not recommended.

MICROBLADING
Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing that can partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hairs. The artist uses a microblade to deposit pigment into the upper dermis of the skin. The formation of the microblade needles allows the artist to create the look of real hairs and tailor the eyebrow to either a fluffy or more defined fuller brow. We only use the highest quality pigments as well as disposable sterile needles. Results last anywhere from 1 - 3 years depending on skin type and lifestyle. Yearly brow top up appointments are usually required to maintain the look.
-
Natural realistic results
-
Ideal for normal/dry skin

NOT ideal for oily thick skin with large pores

Microblading Aftercare:
Aftercare is important to ensure the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not get any water, lotion, soap, or makeup on your eyebrow area during the first seven days after your microblading procedure.
Day 1: After treatment (2-3 hours) clean the area with sterile water and a cotton pad. This should be slightly damp, not wet. Then apply a light layer of Bepanthen lotion. Follow this routine every two hours to avoid build-up of lymph fluid on the skin.
Day 2 - 3: No need to use sterile water now just continue to apply the Bepanthen at least 4 times a day on days 2 and 3.
Day 4-7: Ensure your hands are clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with a cotton swab. This can be done twice a day, night time and morning time, be sure to use the ointment sparingly as your skin needs to heal itself. Please continue to apply the ointment for 7 days.
Please AVOID for the NEXT 14 DAYS:

Microblading Healing Process (Will vary from person to person)
Day 1: The eyebrows are approximately 50% darker and 10-15% bolder in width than they will be when healed. Expect light to moderate swelling and redness. The skin’s redness causes the colour of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to actually see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process.
Day 2: Condition remains the same, do not worry! Trust the process.
Day 3: Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Exfoliation begins.
Day 4: he skin begins to flake, peeling from the outside edges first. Please do not pick at the scabs.
Day 5: Colour finishes flaking off and appears softer and slightly grey for a few days until colour clarifies.
Day 6-7: The colour has lightened from its initial overly-dark appearance. For the next few days, the colour may now be lighter than what the final colour will be.
Day 8-10: The final colour begins to stabilise and show through.
Day 11- 29: Pigment can disappear and reappear after two weeks so please be patient with results.
Day 30: Please book the complementary brow touch up appointment for roughly 8 weeks after your initial treatment (if required). After the brow top up session, the healing process is the same. The final results will show after this!
Maintaining Your Brows:
After the complementary brow appointment we recommend a yearly touchup to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. However, we do offer different touchup schedules because everyone experiences the fading process differently and may need to get a touchup sooner than one year.
Natural fading occurs from external factors such as exposure to the sun as well as internal factors such as the gradual break down of pigments as your body metabolises it out of your system. Everyone can experience the fading process differently and it really comes down to skin type and lifestyle.
Vanity Studio offers free consultations to all prospective Microblading clients. We understand the procedure can be daunting and we want to make sure all our clients feel comfortable with their decision. All questions or concerns you might have will be addressed during your consultation.
THE MIST BROW
The Mist Brow is a form of cosmetic tattooing using a tattoo gun. The “airbrushing” technique is used to implant fine dots of pigment into the skin, to create a mist of colour through the eyebrow. This technique can be used in conjunction with microblading (both blading and shading can create a complimentary look) You can discuss the option with your artist to build more intense colour in sparse areas such as the arch and tail for an ‘ombre” effect. The healed results looks very similar to our non permanent treatment 'Henna Brows' and will minimise the use of eyebrow products as we have created background shading where you need it most.
-
Ideal for most skin types
-
Oily skin type with large pores may be more suited to the mist brow over microblading
-
Ideal-method for those with sparser brows
Oily skin tends to fade much faster therefore ‘The Mist Brow + Microblading combined’ add on an extra layer of protection for longer colour retention. This may be the best option for some clients and can be discussed at consultation.

MALE GROOMING
Between shaving facial hair and getting regular trims, mens eyebrow grooming plays a key role.
Thick, bushy brows are always on trend, and while there are no rules, having a proper maintenance routine for them can help shape the face and define certain areas. Thick brows that aren't groomed can feel heavy and sometimes flat. Dense eyebrows can benefit from a little architecture built into them to help support the facial features. Eyebrow grooming for male-aligned people doesn't necessarily mean removing a lot of hair and creating high or dramatic arches. Some people just want to keep that classic masculine look, just a little cleaned up.
